Sat, May 12, JC Volunteer Fire Department 7th Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser: 2nd Sat @ 5p-8p at JC Fairgrounds. Fried catfish and fixings, French fries hush puppies, coleslaw, pickles, tea & deserts. Many items will be raffled and both live and silent auctions. Door prizes. Raffle tickets $1 or 6/$5, available at local banks and stores. Meal is by donation and serving starts at 5p. FLASH UPDATE: Free Dance At This Years JCVFD Fish Fry! The Johnson City Volunteer Fire Dept is proud to announce a new happening at their annual Fish Fry. This year we are having a FREE DANCE in addition to the fish fry. The Mike Clifford band will begin playing shortly following the live auction and play until 1:30 am. The Department wanted to give something back to the community for all of their support. Wear your dancing shoes, come out and enjoy the music and dance the night away. The food line as always will begin serving fish and all the trimmings at 5 pm and go until 8 pm. Raffle prizes and door prizes will be given out all evening. There are more than 90 prizes to be given away this year in the raffle along with a silent and live auction. “EMS WEEK” ANNUAL FISH FRY, 05-20-06: Dinner served at 6:00 p.m.; We will be honoring present and past members for their contributions to North Blanco County EMS service along with other agencies and organizations that help us in providing excellent patient care and continuous service to the community. We would like to formally THANK the following agencies and organizations for there constant support and assistance. Johnson City Volunteer Fire Dept., ESD Board, Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Dept., ESA Organization, Blanco County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson City Police Dept., Department of Public Safety, Blanco Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
