NORTH BLANCO COUNTY EMS

EMERGENCY SERVICES AUXILIARY: This special group of volunteers work every week of the year to collect, sort, price and sell donated goods, with the returns handed over to the Fire and EMS departments. They provide a much valued service to convert donated goods into the cash we need to help run our service. They have there facility in the same building as EMS, and are a joy to see. We thank them dearly for their contribution and friendship. For coordination on drop-off of donated goods, please contact Irma or Gus Sanchez at 868-2833 or Tom Mills at 868-4857. The on-duty EMS crew may be on a call or otherwise not at the station at the time of your delivery, so you should plan on using your own power to unload your goods and stack them at the south end of the building, outside.

JOHNSON CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT: We work daily with our brothers in service to our community. We back them up with medical services at their fires and calls, and they help us with extrications from vehicles and buildings, and packaging and moving patients to the ambulance. They are our right hands on critical trauma and medical scenes. We couldn't provide the level of care that we do without their ever-present assistance. We thank you every day. See www.jcvfd.org.

BLANCO EMS: When we need extra medical help, whether a large scene with many patients or when we are on other calls, these brothers and sisters down 281 are there any time we need them. JOHNSON CITY POLICE, BLANCO COUNTY SHERIFF AND DPS: Sometimes a scene starts with or needs law enforcement assistance, and they too are always there to take care of the situation. Thanks for helping to keep us safe.

AUSTIN-TRAVIS COUNTY STAR FLIGHT: When we need a Paramedic and one isn't available, or when we need to air evacuate a critical patient, these are the talented and Johnny-on-the-spot folks who are here in minutes to take our patient to the distant hospital.
