Career Staff
North Blanco County EMS is a combination department, and hires career staff in addition to our dedicated volunteers. At this time, there are no position openings. We will, however, gladly accept any applications for all positions to keep on file for 1 year, and you will be notified if a position becomes available.

Volunteer Staff
FIELD PROVIDERS: We always are interested in having more field providers join our department. We provide training and encouragement. Training opportunities are frequently available. We have wireless internet access at our station for member use. We have a fuel allowance program as an incentive for our volunteers. As a volunteer, you can run as a First Responder and/or on a scheduled shift basis. We have well equipped and furnished crew quarters for on-duty field providers, including private bunk rooms, TV, a full kitchen, shower facility, etc.
¨ NBCEMS holds in-house continuing education programs and certification training.
¨ We also have a community education and public awareness program. Through CPR training, school tours & programs, and an annual display at the County Fair and Rodeo, we do our best to ensure that the community knows how to "Make the Right Call".
