Training

North Blanco County EMS is an authorized continuing education provider under the name of Hill County EMS Training (HCEMST). We offer at least one 2-hour continuing education program to area providers, at no cost. The courses offered cover a wide range of topics, providing area providers with a well-rounded EMS education.

Because we are an authorized continuing education provider, providers who successfully complete continuing education courses with us will be able to use these continuing education credits towards renewal of their DSHS certification as well as their National Registry certification, as appropriate.

Continuing Education courses offered by HCEMST will take place at the North Blanco County EMS Station in Johnson City. The North Blanco County EMS station features a large classroom with audiovisual equipment, in addition to state-of-the-art equipment available for training use.
